Before you comment or read what I have posted, please read the following passages for yourself and complete your own S.O.A.P. exercise… How does this work?
S.O.A.P = Scripture, Observation, Application, Prayer
Revelation 15:3, “Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the ages. 4 Who will not fear you, O Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.”
Revelation 16:16, “Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.”
Revelation 17:14, “They will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”
Revelation 18:14, “They will say, ‘The fruit you longed for is gone from you. All your riches and splendor have vanished, never to be recovered.'”
In spite of all the death and destruction in the end times, Jesus is victorious and will restore all things!
Today’s application is pretty simple.
No matter where one is in the world… no matter if you are rich or poor… The end is the same for all of us.
Everyone left alive will experience the same end… and will see firsthand Christ being exalted above all things.
More than drought or famine, even 100 lb. hailstones, once the dust settles, Christ will be on the throne.
“Every eye will see him.” Revelation 1:7
This is not going to happen in secret, this is going to be a worldwide event, seen by all. There will be no question as to what has happened… it will be clear and understood.
Christ will reign…
1 Thessalonians 4:13, “Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. 14 We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord’s own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that,
we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
18 Therefore encourage each other with these words.”
